We don’t want to overdo it with the word icon but in the case of Gandalf, it’s well justified: the wizard that wanders through the Middle-earth with his pointy hat and great staff, that charismatic sorcerer that Tolkien created almost a century ago and for the past 20 years he has, for everyone, the face of Ian McKellen. Or did you not see The Lord of the Rings?

Our Gandalf statue shows our character in his peak state, with his long white beard and his staff, on which’s top glows a dazzling crystal to illuminate the caves of the Middle-earth. In his other hand, he holds a Glamdring, yes: that sword forged for the Elves that the sorcerer found in a troll’s hideout.
